  • binignit (served warm)
  • leche flan (like caramel dessert)
  • puto (steamed cupcake with cheese topping)
  • dodol (stirred coconut milk with brown sugar)
  • sweet banana turon
  • halo-halo (cold dessert)
  • biko (sweet sticky rice cake)
  • cassava cake
  • kutsinta
5 things you can do with food
to earn reward from God (Allah)
1.  Give Iftaar to a Muslim/Muslimah who is fasting (whether it's a Sunnah fast or an obligatory fast in Ramadan). The reward of feeding a fasting Muslim will insha-Allah be as if you also fasted that day.

2.  Cook for your parents (to please Allah), feed your parents.Taking good care of your mother and father is one of the keys to entering Jannah/Heaven.

Allah, our God and Creator, said:

"Your Lord has declared that you worship none but Him, and that you be kind to the parents. it one or both of them attain old-age in your life, do not say to them a word of contempt, nor repel them, but address them with words of honour.  And, out of kindness, lower the wing of humility for them and say "My Lord, have mercy on them as they cared for me when I was little."
(Bani lsraeel 23, 24)

3.  Share food with your Muslim friends, for the sake of Allah. Sharing what you can share with your friends can increase your sisterly/brotherly love. Among the Muslims who will receive a high status on the Day of Judgment are those Muslims who sincerely loved each other only for the sake of Allah. (Loving each other for Allah's sake includes enjoining one another to do good deeds and preventing one another from doing any evil deed)

4.  Give food to an orphan for the sake of Allah and without expecting anything in return. There is a Hadith, I think, which mentions that whoever takes care of widows and/or orphans will be like one who fights in the Way of Allah. Allah knows best.

5.  Continue cooking for your family (to please Allah). One of the good deeds that please Allah and which can grant you entry to Jannah/Heaven is maintaining family ties/family relations.
